submit

coastlines review welcomes submissions of poetry and hybrid work that engages with documentary materials, archival fragments, and the question of what gets recorded and what gets erased.

what we're looking for

  • poetry that incorporates or responds to documentary sources
  • work that interrogates the archive — what it holds, what it omits
  • hybrid forms that blur the line between document and imagination
  • pieces that explore testimony, memory, and evidence

submission guidelines

  • submit 3-5 poems or 1-2 hybrid/longer works
  • include a brief bio (50 words max)
  • simultaneous submissions are fine — just let us know if work is accepted elsewhere
  • previously published work is not accepted
  • response time: 8-12 weeks
